The LongPulse® is a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser handpiece that combines millisecond and microsecond pulses for a broad spectrum of vascular treatments, laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation. Thanks to the deep penetration of the 1064 nm wavelength and its high absorption by haemoglobin, the handpiece is particularly suited to treating both superficial and deeper vascular lesions, with a safe treatment profile for all skin types, including higher Fitzpatrick skin types.
The exclusive True LongPulse® Technology combines the optimal wavelength, pulse duration and energy density for controlled energy delivery to the target tissue. With pulse durations of up to 60 ms, the vessel is heated over a longer period, selectively damaging the endothelium while sparing the surrounding tissue as much as possible. Combined with the Dynamics® mode, four spot sizes (2, 3, 6 and 9 mm) and a maximum fluence of 500 J/cm², the treatment can be tailored precisely to the size, depth and location of the indication.
