The DermaV™ from Cynosure Lutronic is an advanced vascular laser platform that combines a 532 nm KTP laser with a 1064 nm Nd. Thanks to this dual wavelength technology, the system treats both superficial and deeper vascular and pigment indications within a single platform. The combination of high energy, large spot sizes and advanced cooling enables efficient treatments with a high level of patient comfort.
The DermaV™ features the unique Variable Sequential Pulsing Technology, which lets practitioners work in sub-microsecond, sub-millisecond and single pulse modes. This makes it easy to switch between different treatment methods, including KTP, IPL and Pulsed Dye Laser mode, so the treatment can be matched precisely to the indication and the desired outcome.
During treatment, Real-Time Temperature Sensing monitors skin temperature every 2 milliseconds. The practitioner receives real-time feedback both on the screen and through the handpiece, so energy delivery can be controlled continuously. Combined with the integrated cooling system, this contributes to a safe, comfortable treatment and helps limit the risk of thermal damage.
