PICOPLUS® by Cynosure Lutronic is a next-generation picosecond Nd that combines four wavelengths within a single system: 532 nm, 595 nm, 660 nm and 1064 nm. With an ultra-short pulse duration of just 450 picoseconds, the system creates a powerful photomechanical effect, fragmenting pigment particles efficiently with minimal heat build-up in the surrounding tissue. This makes treatments safe and effective across a range of pigment indications, tattoos and different skin types.

Four wavelengths for maximum versatility

Thanks to the combination of four wavelengths, PICOPLUS® can treat different pigments and skin indications with precision. Alongside pigment and tattoo removal, the platform also opens up possibilities for skin quality improvement and collagen stimulation, allowing practitioners to combine several treatment techniques within one system.

Six specialised handpieces

PICOPLUS® comes with six specialised handpieces: Zoom, Pico Toning, Gold Toning, RuVy Touch, Dual Focused Dots and Focused Dots. The Dual Focused Dots handpiece stands out with an adjustable focus depth and variable treatment size, allowing controlled laser-induced optical breakdowns (LIOBs) to be created at different levels in the epidermis and dermis for targeted skin quality improvement and collagen stimulation.
