The DualMode® is an Er:YAG laser handpiece with a wavelength of 2940 nm that combines ablative and coagulative energy within a single pulse. Thanks to the exclusive DualMode® technology, both effects can be applied separately or simultaneously, opening up a broad range of resurfacing treatments with maximum flexibility.
By combining vaporisation and coagulation in one treatment, DualMode® increases the formation of Residual Thermal Damage (RTD). This stimulates collagen remodelling at a deeper level and delivers resurfacing results comparable to a CO₂ laser, but with a shorter recovery time and a lower risk of complications.
With fractional lenses of 100 and 400 MTZ, adjustable pulse durations and different energy levels, the treatment can be tuned precisely to the indication. That makes the DualMode® suitable for a wide range of resurfacing treatments, from superficial laser peels to more intensive fractional skin renewal.
