The MOSAIC 3D™ from Cynosure Lutronic is the latest generation of non-ablative 1550 nm Erbium Glass fractional resurfacing laser. Thanks to the innovative 3D Controlled Chaos Technology™, three different skin depths are treated simultaneously in a single pulse, producing multi-level stimulation of the epidermis and dermis. The result is deep-reaching skin quality improvement with minimal downtime.

3D Controlled Chaos Technology™

Unlike traditional fractional lasers, the MOSAIC 3D™ distributes energy across several skin depths within a single treatment. This creates a larger treatment volume without excessive heat build-up, while stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin at different levels. The system also features a Thermal Mode, which builds up more superficial heat using a higher density and lower energy. This approach is particularly suited to indications such as active acne, post-inflammatory erythema (PIE), enlarged pores and fine lines.

The MOSAIC 3D™ comes with a stamping and a rolling handpiece for different treatment techniques. The stamping handpiece briefly compresses the skin, pushing away fluid and temporarily closing superficial vessels. This allows the energy to penetrate deeper into the skin. The rolling handpiece suits larger treatment areas and uses light and sound signals to give real-time feedback on the optimal treatment speed. The integrated cooling system, with sapphire tips and air cooling, adds comfort during treatment and supports swift skin recovery.
