Benefits

  • Multifrequency RF technologyIn Deep mode, one shot combines 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz, for stimulation at different skin depths.
  • 3 adjustable treatment depthsShallow, Middle and Deep for a personalised approach.
  • Accurate Impedance FeedbackContinuous monitoring of skin impedance for controlled energy delivery.
  • Minimal downtimeNon-invasive treatment without needles and with little recovery time.

XERF™ from Cynosure Lutronic is a monopolar radiofrequency system for non-invasive skin tightening that, according to Cynosure Lutronic, uses the world's first multifrequency monopolar RF technology. In the deepest treatment mode, one shot combines 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz radiofrequency, so that energy is delivered at different skin depths, with controlled heat supporting the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin.

Adjustable treatment depths and intelligent energy control

The system offers three adjustable treatment depths (Shallow, Middle and Deep) and ten energy levels, allowing treatments to be tailored precisely to the treatment area and the desired tissue depth. Alongside this, Accurate Impedance Feedback continuously analyses skin impedance and automatically adjusts energy delivery accordingly.

According to Cynosure Lutronic, the Deep mode reaches down to the SMAS. During treatment, five sensors monitor the skin surface temperature in real time.

In countries where XERF has been in use for longer, practices often combine it with other treatments: with a fractional laser such as the LaseMD Ultra for texture and pigment, or with injectables in a separate session. It is also used there for skin laxity after weight loss, for example in patients on GLP-1 medication.

Wave Fit™ Pulse Technology

Thanks to Wave Fit™ Pulse Technology, energy is distributed across multiple pulses with integrated cryogenic cooling. This achieves a controlled temperature rise and heat retention while preserving comfort during treatment. The treatment involves no needles and little recovery time.
